Are your products made to order?

Yes. Most items are produced after an order is placed. This allows us to offer a wider range of designs without keeping large amounts of inventory.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Production and shipping times can vary depending on the product and destination.

Because items are made to order, please allow additional time for production before shipping. Your order will enter production once all applicable taxes have been confirmed and paid.

Estimated delivery information will be provided when available.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping within Canada is $9.99 CAD for orders under $100.

Orders of $100 CAD or more qualify for free shipping within Canada.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. Hold the North Shop accepts orders from customers across Canada.

How are GST and HST handled?

GST/HST is not included in the initial checkout total.

After your order is placed, the applicable GST or HST will be calculated based on your shipping province and invoiced separately through PayPal.

This allows us to apply the correct tax rate for your destination.

Your order will enter production once the separate tax invoice has been paid.

When will I receive my tax invoice?

Tax invoices are sent after your order has been reviewed.

Please allow up to one business day to receive your GST/HST invoice.

If you place an order outside regular business hours, on a weekend, or while we are unavailable, your tax invoice may not be sent immediately.

Why isn’t GST/HST charged directly at checkout?

Canadian GST and HST rates vary depending on the province where an order is delivered.

Our current checkout system does not automatically calculate every Canadian provincial tax rate, so applicable GST/HST is calculated manually and invoiced separately to ensure the correct rate is charged.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are securely processed through PayPal.

Available payment options may include PayPal balance, credit card, debit card, or other payment methods supported by PayPal.

Separate GST/HST invoices are also sent through PayPal.

Can I request a custom product?

Yes.

If you have your own slogan, political joke, statement, or design idea, you can contact Hold the North Shop to request a custom mug, shirt, hoodie, tote, magnet, sticker, or other available product.

Custom products are quoted individually depending on the product and design requirements.

Are all custom designs accepted?

Custom requests are subject to review and printer approval.

We reserve the right to decline requests that cannot be produced, violate printer policies, infringe intellectual property rights, or contain unlawful or prohibited content.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because most products are made to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

Once your item has entered production, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs of the item.

We will review the issue and work with you to determine an appropriate replacement or resolution.

Do you accept returns?

Because many Hold the North Shop products are made to order, returns for change of mind may be limited.

If an item is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what was ordered, please contact us so we can review the situation.

Custom-made and personalized products may not be returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Are product colours and designs exactly the same as the images online?

Product images and mockups are intended to provide a close representation of the finished item.

Minor differences in colour, placement, size, or print appearance may occur during production.

Do you offer an affiliate or referral program?

Yes. Hold the North Shop may work with approved affiliates and referral partners.

Participating affiliates receive their own referral or discount code. Customers may receive a discount when using an eligible code, and the referring affiliate may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.
