Are your products made to order?

Yes. We produce most items after an order is placed. This allows us to offer a wider range of designs without keeping large amounts of inventory.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Production and shipping times vary by product and destination.

Because items are made to order, please allow additional time for production before shipping. Your order will enter production once we confirm and collect all applicable taxes.

We will provide estimated delivery information when available.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping within Canada is $9.99 CAD for orders under $100.

Orders of $100 CAD or more qualify for free shipping within Canada.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. Hold the North Shop accepts orders from customers across Canada.

How are GST and HST handled?

GST/HST is not included in the initial checkout total.

After you place your order, we calculate the applicable GST or HST based on your shipping province and invoice it separately through PayPal.

This allows us to apply the correct tax rate for your destination.

Your order will enter production once you pay the separate tax invoice.

When will I receive my tax invoice?

We send tax invoices after we review your order.

Please allow up to one business day to receive your GST/HST invoice.

If you place an order outside regular business hours, on a weekend, or while we are unavailable, we may not send your tax invoice immediately.

Why isn’t GST/HST charged directly at checkout?

Canadian GST and HST rates vary depending on the province where an order is delivered.

Our current checkout system does not automatically calculate every Canadian provincial tax rate, so we calculate applicable GST/HST manually and invoice it separately to ensure the correct rate is charged. We hope to change this soon.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are securely processed through PayPal.

Available payment options may include PayPal balance, credit card, debit card, or other PayPal-supported payment methods.

We also send separate GST/HST invoices through PayPal.

Can I request a custom product?

Yes.

If you have your own slogan, political joke, statement, or design idea, you can contact Hold the North Shop to request a custom mug, shirt, hoodie, tote, magnet, sticker, or other available product.

Custom products are quoted individually depending on the product and design requirements.

Are all custom designs accepted?

Custom requests are subject to review and printer approval.

We reserve the right to decline requests that we cannot produce, that violate printer policies, infringe intellectual property rights, or contain unlawful or prohibited content.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because most products are made to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

Once your item has entered production, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs of the item.

We will review the issue and work with you to determine an appropriate replacement or resolution.

Do you accept returns?

Because many Hold the North Shop products are made to order, returns for change of mind may be limited.

If an item is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what was ordered, please contact us so we can review the situation.

Custom-made and personalized products may not be returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Are product colours and designs exactly the same as the images online?

Product images and mockups are intended to closely represent the finished item.

Minor differences in colour, placement, size, or print appearance may occur during production.

Do you offer an affiliate or referral program?

Yes. Hold the North Shop may work with approved affiliates and referral partners.

Participating affiliates receive their own referral or discount code. Customers may receive a discount when using an eligible code, and the referring affiliate may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.

Can I become an affiliate?
